Your dates are personal. So is this.

Remynd remembers important dates for you and, when you ask, sends flowers or a handwritten card on your behalf. This policy explains what Northview Labs Inc. (“Remynd”, “we”) collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Remynd iOS app and to remynd.co.

What we collect

Information you give us

Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name, email address, and (from Google) a profile image. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email if you choose “Hide My Email”.
Dates. The occasions you add: the person’s name, your relationship to them, the type of occasion, the date, an optional note, and how many days ahead you want to be reminded.
Gifts. When you schedule flowers or a card: the recipient’s name and mailing address, your card message, your handwriting style choice, the product, and the delivery date.
Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID and a token that refers to your saved card. We never receive or store your full card number or security code. If you use the card scanner, the camera image is processed on your device by Stripe’s software and is not stored.
Preferences. Whether you want email reminders, and whether reminders on your phone are on.
Messages to us. Anything you send to hello@remynd.co.

Information collected automatically

Sign-in sessions. A session token so you stay signed in. We store only a hashed form of it, with the time it was created and last used. Sessions expire after 60 days without use.
Delivery records. Which reminders we sent and when, and the status of each order.
Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, request time, app version) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We do not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels in the app or on this website. We do not collect your contacts, location, or photos. Reminders on your phone are scheduled locally on your device; we do not collect push notification tokens.

How we use it

To remind you of the dates you added, on your phone and, if you opt in, by email.
To schedule, charge, place, and track the gifts you ask us to send.
To email you about your account and orders: welcome, order set, order on its way, and payment problems.
To answer your support requests.
To keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run Remynd, and only what each one needs:

Stripe processes payments and stores your card. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment details it collects.
Florist One fulfills flower orders through its network of local florists. They receive the recipient’s name and address, the delivery date, your card message, and the product ordered.
Handwrytten writes and mails cards. They receive the recipient’s name and address, your message, and your handwriting style choice.
Google provides address autocomplete and validation while you type a shipping address, and Google Sign-In if you choose it.
Apple provides Sign in with Apple if you choose it.
Resend delivers our emails to you.
Google Cloud and Neon host our servers and database in the United States.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Remynd or others, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Recipients

When you send a gift you give us another person’s name and address. You are responsible for having the right to share it. We use recipient details only to deliver the gift you scheduled and the reminders tied to it, and we never contact recipients for any other purpose. A recipient can ask us to remove their details by emailing hello@remynd.co.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, dates, scheduled gifts, and saved card right away. Records of completed purchases are kept, with the recipient and message removed, for as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted.

Your choices

Edit or delete a date or gift any time in the app.
Turn off email reminders in Settings. Order emails still arrive because they concern a purchase.
Turn off phone reminders in Settings or in iOS notification settings.
Delete your account in the app under Settings, or email hello@remynd.co from the address on your account. Deleting cancels any gifts not yet charged and removes your dates, profile, and saved card immediately; gifts already on their way still arrive.
Access or correct your data. Email us and we will send you a copy or fix what is wrong.

California residents

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it (this policy), to request a copy, to correct it, and to delete it. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@remynd.co. We verify requests by confirming the email address on the account.

Children

Remynd is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Recipients of gifts may be of any age; we hold only the delivery details you provide.

Security

Data moves over encrypted connections and is encrypted at rest by our hosting providers. Session tokens are stored hashed. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will tell you as the law requires.

Where your data lives

Our servers and database are in the United States. If you use Remynd from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For material changes we will also email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect.
