The plain-language agreement.

These terms are a contract between you and Northview Labs Inc. (“Remynd”, “we”) for the Remynd app and remynd.co. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Remynd does

Remynd stores the dates you care about, reminds you before they arrive, and, when you ask, arranges for flowers or a handwritten card to be delivered on your behalf. Flowers are fulfilled by Florist One and its network of local florists. Cards are written and mailed by Handwrytten. Payments are processed by Stripe. Remynd coordinates these services; the physical goods are produced and delivered by those partners.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account. One person per account.

3. Reminders

Reminders are a convenience. They depend on your phone’s notification settings, your email provider, and the dates you enter. We are not responsible if a reminder does not arrive or a date was entered incorrectly. Computed holidays (for example Mother’s Day) are calculated for the United States unless stated otherwise.

4. Ordering a gift

When you schedule a gift you choose a product, a recipient, a message, and a delivery date. Prices are shown in US dollars and include delivery. Sales tax is added for flowers where it applies and is shown before you confirm. Product photos are representative; florists may substitute flowers, containers, or colors of equal or greater value when a specific item is unavailable, which is standard in the floral industry.

You confirm that the recipient details you give us are accurate and that you have the right to share them. We rely on the address you provide; gifts sent to an incorrect address are not refundable.

5. When you are charged

Scheduling a gift saves your payment method but does not charge it. We charge your card automatically when the order enters its placement window: 30 days before delivery for flowers and 7 days before delivery for cards. We then place the order with our partner. If the charge fails we email you so you can update your card or retry; if it is not resolved, the gift is not sent.

By scheduling a gift you authorize us to charge the saved payment method at that time, and, for gifts set to repeat, once each year until you cancel or skip a year. We email you before each yearly charge.

6. Changing or cancelling

Before the charge. You can edit, skip, or cancel a scheduled gift in the app at no cost.
After the charge, before placement fails or succeeds. If we charged you and could not place the order, cancelling refunds you in full automatically.
After the order is placed with a partner. Contact hello@remynd.co as soon as possible. Flower orders can often be cancelled before the day of delivery; cards that have already been written or mailed cannot. Refunds depend on what the partner can still stop.
Problems with a delivered gift. If flowers arrive damaged, late, or not as ordered, tell us within 48 hours with a photo and we will arrange a redelivery or refund with the florist. If a card never arrives, tell us and we will resend or refund it.

7. Deliveries

Delivery availability for an address is confirmed at checkout. Flowers are delivered by local florists during their business hours on the delivery date; timing within the day cannot be guaranteed, and deliveries around major holidays may arrive a day early. Cards travel by postal mail and the delivery date is an estimate. If a recipient is unavailable, the florist may leave the arrangement with a neighbor or in a safe place, or attempt redelivery.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Remynd to send anything harassing, threatening, or unlawful, to contact someone who has asked you not to, or to interfere with the service or other people’s accounts. We may refuse or cancel an order and refund it, or close an account, when we believe these terms are being broken.

9. Your content

You own the messages and details you enter. You give us permission to use them only as needed to provide the service, including passing your message to the partner who writes the card or fills out the gift note.

10. The app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Remynd app on devices you own or control, under the App Store terms that apply to you. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you. The app, the Remynd name, and its design are ours; please do not copy them.

11. Disclaimers

Remynd is provided “as is”. We do our best to deliver every reminder and gift, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that every reminder will arrive, or that a partner will complete every delivery on time. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Northview Labs Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Remynd. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Remynd at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Gifts already charged will be handled under section 6.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, please email us; most issues are resolved in a message or two.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Remynd evolves. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Remynd after that means you accept the new terms.
